Entries Now Open for the 2XU Women's Triathlon

Entries for the 2XU Women's Triathlon have now closed online and postal/fax.

Late entries will be accepted at Registration for the event on Saturday 27th Feb between 1pm and 4pm. NO entries will be accepted on the day of the event.

All Late registrations will incur a late fee.

2XU Women's Triathlon Entry Fees (late fee included):

Please Note:

• A Team is considered either two or three people competing as one; one person completes the swim, one person completes the cycle and one completes the run. You may have a team of two, where one person completes the swim and the other completes the cycle and run (or any combination).
• TWA Members are those who have a Triathlon Western Australia Membership; if you do not have a TWA Membership, the extra cost (non member price) pays for a day license so you are covered for insurance purposes.

EVENT REFUND AND CHANGE POLICY

• Entry fees are non refundable.
• In the event that you are injured and cannot race, a refund will be given if you withdraw prior to 9am Monday 22nd February and provide a doctor's (or equivalent) certificate. All refunds will be processed after the event.
• No refund will be given if the event is cancelled due to bad weather or other 'acts of god'.
• Changes to registration can be made via email only to kellie@trievents.com.au. Changes will be accepted without charge until 5pm on Friday 19th February. Changes after this date can be made with a $10 administration fee.

Entry Fees:

Challenge Stadium and Arena Joondalup -                          $289.00 (inc GST)

Entry into the Training Course includes the following:

• Three training sessions per week (one swim, one cycle and one run)
• Entry in to Aquatic Centres at Arena Joondalup and Challenge Stadium (participants of the training course will be provided with a 8 session entry card to the appropriate aquatic centre)
• Breakfast and Nutrition Seminar
• Entry into the 2XU Women’s Triathlon
• Bike Maintenance, Shoe Selection, Stretching and Injury Prevention Talks
• Triathlon Top to wear when you compete in the 2XU Women’s Triathlon

TRAINING COURSE REFUND AND CHANGE POLICY

• A full refund (less $10 admin fee) will be given if you withdraw prior to the application closing date of Tuesday 29th December 2009 (entries still being accepted until all sessions are full!).
• A $30 fee will apply if you withdraw after 29th December but prior to the start of the course.
• If you withdraw within the first 3 weeks of the course, a 50% refund will be given but only upon receipt of a doctor's certificate.
• You are advised to take out your own personal accident insurance if you are not a member of TWA (Triathlon Western Australia).
• Bikes must be mechanically sound and helmets must be Australian Standard approved. You will not be permitted to take part in the cycle if a coach deems your bike to be unroadworthy. If you are in doubt take your bike to your local bike shop for a safety check.
• Confirmation of your session times and additional information on what you need to bring will be sent out directly by Challenge Stadium.
• Due to the course being fully booked we ask that you stay in the sessions you have chosen for the duration of the course. If you are unable to attend one of your allocated sessions, unfortunately you cannot make it up in another session. Please contact us if this poses a major problem.
